Hello Dear Friends!
I hope you are enjoying your week. I have been busy creating a zillion coffee filter flowers and my fingers are soooo tired! I cannot wait to show you the finished product next week.
Today I have an easy DIY Paper Heart Wreath that is perfect for decorating your home for Valentine’s Day. It requires very few supplies and very little time! Easy-peasy!
You need colored card stock paper, (I used 3 colors: white, light pink and dark pink), scissors or cutting mat and rotary cutter, a stapler and a glue gun. That’s it.
I cut (12) 1″x11.5″ strips of each color.
Take (2) strips of the same color and hold it together at the bottom.
Pull down each strip (creating a loop) on each side to meet at the bottom.
Place a staple through all (4) pieces.
Viola a sweet paper heart!
I created (6) of these sweet loop hearts in each color.
I took (9) hearts ( 3 of each color) and created a “garland” by tucking in each heart atop of the next. Using my glue gun, set on a low temperature, I simply glued each heart in place. I repeated this process until all (9) hearts were glued together.
I repeated this step and created a second garland following the same steps.
I then took the (2) garlands and stapled the two ends together.
I then formed a heart shape pulling the garlands together and stapled then at the top.
I created a smaller white paper heart, turned it upside down, and placed it between the top pink hearts and stapled all of these together.
Here is the finished paper heart wreath. What do you think? Quick and easy!
Enjoy your weekend. Next week I will give you a tour of my decorated Valentine’s Day home as well as share my coffee filter wreath. Stay warm!
